Yes, comprehensive insurance is included with all our rentals. However, you may opt for additional coverage depending on your needs. Options to reduce excess but this is no options to opt out insurances.

Yes, you can choose to pick up and drop off you bikes at one of the following locations: Christchurch, Auckland or Queenstown.

NO options to opt out of insurance. In case of a mechanical break down, AA road side assistance is included and depending on the availability, we would help swap the bike out (cost may apply). 

Unlimited kms for rentals 5 days or over. 300KMS per day for rental less than 5 days.

Yes, we do offer custom guided tour to suit all group size. Options to have or not have luggage van, lead riders, even if you want to combine a golf or business with your motorcycle tour. Options are unlimited, we are here to cater all needs.

For our fixed dates and route guided tours, we required 5 riders as minimum booking size. Links to tours here

Yes, you can take our bikes on legal unsealed roads, and our insurance will still cover you. We usually recommend the KTM 890 or CF Moto 450 for these types of rides. New Zealand boasts thousands of kilometers of scenic unsealed roads, offering breathtaking views and unique riding experiences. However, please be aware that off-roading or any activities beyond legal unsealed roads, including water crossings, are strictly prohibited. If we discover that the bikes have been used incorrectly, Epic Motorcycle Rental and Tour reserves the right to claim the full amount of the insurance bond.

Yes, we strongly recommend that all riders and passengers have travel insurance. While we provide insurance coverage for the motorcycles, travel insurance can protect you from unexpected situations such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of personal belongings.

Additionally, it's important to know that New Zealand has a no-fault accident compensation scheme through the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC). This means that if you’re injured in an accident while in New Zealand, ACC may help cover treatment and rehabilitation costs regardless of who was at fault. However, ACC does not cover other costs like loss of income, trip interruptions, or non-injury-related incidents, which is why comprehensive travel insurance is still essential to ensure complete coverage and peace of mind during your adventure with Epic Motorcycle Rental and Tour.

We provide free panniers with all our bikes, so you have plenty of storage space for your gear. If you need even more room, top boxes are available for an additional cost. This way, you can pack everything you need for your adventure with Epic Motorcycle Rental and Tour.

Yes and no—it depends on your preference and needs. While some areas in New Zealand still lack reliable cellphone coverage, a GPS can be very handy in those situations. You can also use offline Google Maps, which works well if you download the maps in advance. If you prefer, we also offer Android Auto or Apple CarPlay units for hire, allowing you to use Google Maps and other navigation apps seamlessly during your ride.
